For over a decade now Cotty’s Cleaners, in co-operation with B101 FM and recently Chay 93.1 FM, have campaigned during the fall in an effort to provide a warm winter coat for the less fortunate children in our community. In 2004 Wright Cleaners joined the campaign and began accepting coats for adults as well as other winter clothing such as toques, mitts etc. These items and any left over children’s coats were donated to the Salvation Army for distribution. The previous campaigns have been great successes with over one thousand children’s coats being collected, cleaned and distributed. I would like to personally thank everyone involved as it is truly a combined effort to insure the continued success of this important community based initiative. John H.
